ADATas Special General Meeting
The ADATas SGM was held on March 25th at RACV Hobart. It was resolved to accept the proposed changes to the Constitution and lodge the amendments with Consumer Building and Occupational Services to satisfy the requirements under the Associations Incorporation Act 1964.

The North West, Northern and Southern Study Group meetings were held in March, all focused on Orthodontics. We are pleased to report they were all educational and engaging presentations and excellent opportunities for members to connect.

Productive talks with Tasmanian Health Minister
ADATas President Dr Katelyn McCracken, Vice President Dr Daniel Frank and ADALtd President Dr Chris Sanzaro recently met with the Tasmanian Health Minister Bridget Archer to speak about issues affecting our profession. Productive discussions were had around improving access to general anaesthesia, utilisation of CDBS and ensuring Oral Health is represented in the upcoming Preventive Health Strategy, among several other topics.
The Recent Graduates and Students Committee held social events during March in Hobart and Launceston. These are great opportunities to connect with fellow members and colleagues. Stay tuned for further social events to be held later on in the year.

2026 ADAVB Convention & Exhibition - Save the date!

It will explore the breakthroughs shaping the dental profession, feature industry-leading professionals, and have a diverse range of stallholders on site displaying the latest products all practitioners should be aware of.
